What is Gisele Bündchen’s Net Worth?
The Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen is worth $400 million. That wealth is distinct from the $250 million fortune of her ex-husband, Tom Brady. The Bundchen-Bradys had a $650 million combined net worth when they were married. How does Gisele’s wealth surpass Tom’s? Think about this: Between 2000 and 2020, Tom Brady made $330 million from his salary and endorsements throughout his first 20 years in the NFL. Gisele made more than $500 million at that same time frame.
One of the first generation of extremely popular and intellectual Brazilian models was Gisele. She established the benchmark for all subsequent Brazilian models, and she is largely responsible for the exceptional reputation enjoyed by models from that part of the world. They are renowned for being great businesspeople, bright, patient, and always professional. She cleared the path for everyone. She has amassed a remarkable empire over the years and is widely regarded as the final great “supermodel.”
As one of Victoria’s Secret’s most well-known faces, she has collaborated with several well-known designers, invented a new runway walk style, revived the concept of the ‘curvy’ model when the emaciated, skinny look had been the standard for years, started her line of flip flops, made appearances in movies and videos, and produced her show. She owns real estate in several nations and serves as a Goodwill Ambassador.

Early Life
On July 20, 1980, Gisele Bündchen was born in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her ancestry is German. Along with her twin sister Patricia and their four other sisters, Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, and Rafaela, Gisele grew up in Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil. Gisele speaks French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English with ease. She loved playing volleyball as a child and had dreamed of becoming a professional player. Gisele, Patricia, and Gabriela corrected their poor posture by enrolling in a modelling course in 1993. Elite Model Management found Gisele at a Sao Paulo mall the next year. In the Elite Model Look competition, she came in second. To begin her modelling career, 14-year-old Gisele relocated to Sao Paulo at the beginning of 1995.
Career
In 1996, Bündchen’s first major break came at New York Fashion Week. She tried out for forty-three programs in 1997, however she was only selected for two international shows. The only reason she was picked to walk the runway in Alexander McQueen’s Spring 1998 ready-to-wear show, “Rain,” was because she could tread the slick runway in extremely high heels. In the same year, she modelled for advertisements for Versace, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre, Missoni, Chloe, and Dolce & Gabbana. She was featured on the covers of i-D, British Vogue, and Vogue Paris.
She made her debut on the cover of American Vogue in July 1999. In December 1999, she appeared on the cover of Vogue once more. When Gisele was twenty years old, Rolling Stone dubbed her “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” and featured her on the magazine’s cover in 2000. She is mostly responsible for the emergence of a brand-new model type known as the Brazillian bombshell.
In the year 2000, Bündchen appeared on the cover of three of the American editions of Vogue, among 37 other worldwide editions. She was featured on the covers of Vogue’s American and British issues in January 2000. Gisele was a busy woman during Fashion Week in the spring of 2000. In New York, Paris, and Milan, she served as an opening act for Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, and Michael Kors. From 1993 to 2003, Bündchen was featured in all of Dolce and Gabbana’s advertising campaigns.
In 2000, Bündchen formally withdrew from Fashion Week runway performances after agreeing to a $25 million contract with Victoria’s Secret. In the same year, she donned the Red Hot Fantasy Bra, a $15 million Victoria’s Secret item that holds the record for the most costly knickers ever made, according to Guinness World Records. Bündchen posed for the second most costly bra ever produced, the $12.5 million Sexy Splendour Fantasy Bra, in 2005. In May 2007, Bündchen terminated her contract with Victoria’s Secret.
Bündchen made her eleventh appearance on the cover of American Vogue in April 2010. In 2011, she was featured on eight covers of Vogue. With 70,743 copies sold, her July 2011 issue of Vogue Brasil was the best-selling issue of the magazine.
In May 2014, Gisele was appointed Chanel No. 5’s spokesperson. She made more appearances in Brazilian TV ads in 2014 and 2015 than any other Brazilian star. More than 500 advertising campaigns, 800 fashion shows, 2,000 magazine covers, and 3,500 magazine editorials were all credited to Bündchen by 2015.
Through the Brazilian footwear brand Grendene, Bündchen introduced the Impanema range of designer sandals. She also owns the Palladium Executive, a hotel in Brazil.
In 2018, Gisele’s book Lessons: “My Path to a Meaningful Life” was published. In the United States, her book was a New York Times bestseller, and in Brazil, it held the top spot for over half a year. Her book’s sales were donated to environmental and social organisations.
FTX Collapse
Gisele and Tom disclosed in June 2021 that they had executed an endorsement deal to serve as “Brand Ambassadors” for the cryptocurrency exchange FTX. They made several appearances in the exchange’s advertisements.
As you are well aware, FTX filed for bankruptcy in November 2022. Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO and co-founder of the company, was later detained and brought to the United States from the Bahamas to stand trial for wire fraud and money laundering.
The complete list of FTX’s inside equity investors was made public in a bankruptcy court filing on January 10, 2023. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were listed on that document. The petition states that Gisele was given 686,761 FTX common shares. 1,144,861 common shares were given to Tom.
It was revealed that Kevin O’Leary, a television personality, had 32,000 shares. According to Kevin’s testimony before the Senate and an interview with CNBC, his investment in FTX was worth $1 million at its height. Based on these figures, we may determine that a single share of FTX was worth $31.25 on the secondary market at one point. Thus, the total value of Tom and Gisele’s 1.8 million shares was approximately $57 million at one point. Tens of millions more were probably paid to them as well. Kevin O’Leary, for instance, received other remuneration totalling almost $14 million.
It is highly probable that Tom and Gisele, along with all other celebrity endorsers, will not be compensated for their stock shares.
Acting Career
Alongside Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, Bündchen featured in the 2004 version of “Taxi.” Bündchen portrayed Serena in the 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada.”
Personal Life
Bündchen dated actor Josh Hartnett and model Scott Barnhill. From 2000 to 2005, she was romantically involved with Leonardo DiCaprio. Between 2005 and 2006, she spent six months dating surfer Kelly Slater.
In late 2006, Bündchen started dating quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. On a blind date, a mutual friend introduced them. On February 26, 2009, Bündchen and Brady tied the knot in a modest ceremony at Santa Monica, California’s St. Monica’s Catholic Church. The couple’s second ceremony took place in Costa Rica in April 2009. 2009 saw the birth of their son, and 2012 saw the birth of their daughter. In addition, Bündchen and actress Bridget Moynahan are stepparents to Brady’s son.
Following months of speculation, Tom and Gisele formally announced their divorce in October 2022.
Bündchen has also raised funds for Hurricane Katrina assistance and St. Jude Children’s Hospital Research, and she has contributed to several humanitarian projects, such as the I am African campaign, (Product) Red and Zero Hunger. Bündchen has been named a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme in recognition of her work to protect the rainforests and encourage replanting.
Career Modeling Earnings
Between 2002 and 2017, Bündchen was the world’s highest-paid model. Gisele Bundchen’s modelling and endorsement career alone has brought in $500 million as of this writing. Real estate holdings and other non-liquid investments are not included in that amount.
Bündchen was included as the model with the highest income between June 2014 and June 2015 in the Guinness World Records book.
Real Estate
Massachusetts:
Tom and Gisele purchased a lot in a gated enclave in Brookline, Massachusetts, for $4.5 million in May 2013. They then went ahead and built a 10,000-square-foot estate on their own. This house was listed for $39.5 million in August 2019. It hasn’t sold yet as of this writing.
Tom spent $6.24 million on a Boston building in 2006. After that, he invested $11.5 million to turn the building’s nine units into four. He made $9.3 million when he sold the penthouse in 2011. Three of the remaining units were sold by him for a total of $8 million.
Brentwood:
Tom and Gisele spent $9 million in 2009 to purchase an undeveloped piece of land in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles. They spent another $20 million over the next three years building a 14,000-square-foot house that they lived in for less than a year. Situated on a piece of land with a view of the Pacific Ocean, the home was constructed from the ground up using acid-washed limestone. The house has a large gym, a modern kitchen, open-beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, marble-tiled baths, several spacious closets, and a modern kitchen.
A big pool, a motor court made of reclaimed stones that can only be accessed by car across a narrow bridge, a moat full of koi, and exquisitely groomed gardens are all located outside the house. Using grey-water technology and solar power, the entire house is environmentally friendly. Additionally, environmentally friendly repurposed materials were used in its construction.
They sold the property to Dr. Dre for $50 million in May 2014. A decent strategy to earn $21 million.
New York City:
In 2018, Tom and Gisele purchased a 12th-floor apartment in a New York City building for $25.5 million. In December 2020, they sold this unit for $40 million. In the same building, they still own a smaller flat with 4,300 square feet of living space and a view of the Hudson River.
Florida:
A two-acre estate on Miami’s ultra-exclusive Indian Creek island, commonly referred to as the Billionaire Bunker, cost Tom and Gisele $17 million in late 2020. Only 34 lots make up the 300-acre island, which is only reachable by one guarded bridge. The island is constantly patrolled by a private police force. The 5,700-square-foot mansion was demolished by Tom and Gisele to construct a new, far larger one in its stead. Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and wealthy businessman Carl Icahn are all close neighbours.
Tom and Gisele reportedly paid $75,000 a month to rent Derek Jeter’s Tampa mansion before purchasing their Indian Creek property.
