Sukihana was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on November 15, 1991. Her full name is Destiny Lanette Henderson. Before relocating to Miami, Florida, she attended art school in Atlanta, Georgia, where she spent a large portion of her early years.
Reality Television
As a cast member of the third season of the VH1 reality series “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Sukihana initially received widespread fame in 2020. “Miami” is the fourth episode of the “Love & Hip Hop” reality television series, which follows the lives of Miami-based hip-hop musicians. Sukihana co-starred with Trina, Amara La Negra, Trick Daddy, Hood Brat, Brisco, and Florence El Luche throughout her 2020–2023 stint on the show.
While still on “Love & Hip Hop: Miami,” Sukihana joined the cast of “Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition,” which included cast members from all four “Love & Hip Hop” series, for its third and final season. In addition, she was a judge on “Baddies West,” the third season of the reality show “Baddies” on “Baddies.” Sukihana appeared with Natalie Nunn, Camilla Poindexter, Gia ‘Rollie’ Mayhem, and Scotland ‘Scotty’ Ryan on the fourth season of “Baddies East,” which aired from 2023 to 2024. Sukihana then had a cameo appearance on the fifth season of “Baddies Caribbean.”
Music Career
When Sukihana appeared on the song “Drug Dealer” by rapper Cuban Doll in 2018, it was her first significant musical credit. Her first song, “Hood Rat,” featuring Cuban Doll, was released the following year. In 2020, Sukihana released “Wolf Pussy,” her debut mixtape. Her subsequent hits include “Pretty and Ratchet,” “No One,” “Everywhere,” “Eating,” and “Cocaine.” Additionally, Sukihana worked with Afro B on the single “Casamigos (Pour it in My Cup)”; the track “Pilates” with Vybz Kartel and Jonny Blaze; and Ray J on the song “Throwing Stacks.”
Numerous songs by different artists have featured Sukihana. She appeared on singer-songwriter Muni Long’s song “Thot Thoughts” in 2021. She appeared on Dovey Magnum’s “Bad Gyal Team” and Sexyy Red’s “Born by the River” the following year. Magician vs Musician
Suki interviewed with YouTuber and podcaster Bobbi Althoff at the beginning of 2024. For some reason, Suki refused to accept the term “musician” and felt that it meant she was being referred to as a “magician.” It was a really strange encounter.
Feud with Cupcakke
A diss track titled “How to Rob” was released by Cupcakke, a rapper who was involved in a fight with Sukihana in 2020. Sukihana responded by releasing the diss tune “Rob Who? B**ch.” Cupcakke and Sukihana each released one additional diss track, “The Gag Is” and “Cupcakke Bummy.”
Personal Life
Sukihana has a girl and two sons. Her grandmother Cynthia and her kids reside in Atlanta.
